Showing what it takes to save a life

Have you got a couple of hours to spare on 12th September to help educate the public on CPR and saving lives?

The Trust is joining with its partner critical care charities for a massive CPRathon in the hope that hundreds of people will take just a few minutes to be taught some basic life-saving techniques and learn more about critical care in the pre-hospital field.

Several staff and volunteers have already signed up, but to help share the load over the six-hour and 12-venue event, organisers are looking for as many clinicians as possible to help out, even if it can only be for an hour.

Each event will run between 10am-4pm, and the places that the CPRathon will run in on that day include Luton, Kempston, Cambridge, Peterborough, Downham Market or King’s Lynn, Chelmsford, Southend, Stevenage, Norwich, Bury and Ipswich.
