Spotting the sick child e-learning

A learning tool to help health care professionals spot children with serious illnesses is available online.

Commissioned by the Department of Health, the ‘Spotting the sick child’ site has interactive videos to help you with the assessment of an acutely sick child, and evidence based guidance to help with common symptoms.

There is also an assessment element and you will receive a certificate when you have completed it.

Registration is free and you will need your professional registration number to sign on.
