Supporting end of life care month and the latest takeover week

Ambulance side shot

We’re encouraging all NTK readers to dive in to our end of life month work if you haven’t had the chance to already, and which is coming to a conclusion next week.

The final part of end of life care month will include a podcast on DNACPR, a reflective case study, and the ambitions of palliative care going forward.

Meanwhile, the Communications team is trying out a patient takeover week from Monday - a chance to share some content, facts and figures about patient services and feedback and the work of staff and volunteers under these clinical directorate teams. These are teams who help process all kinds of information, feedback, serious incidents and so on, which go on to improve the patient experience and development of staff and volunteers.

Like the normal takeover weeks we run which recognise work areas like EOC and critical care, most of what we put together will be public-facing, so please share on social media as much as you can!

Supporting all of this work means we can engage with more people about how things work and what we do to improve services. We always value your feedback about what was useful and what you’d like to see in the future, so email communications@eastamb.nhs.uk or give one of the team a call!
