It is with great sadness that we have to announce that our former colleague Teresa Lee, an emergency care practitioner (ECP) in Norfolk, passed away on Sunday, 30th October.

Teresa worked for 26 years finishing her career with us working on the Swaffham car.  She then moved to the Watton surgery to continue as an ECP working for the surgery.

Sadly, shortly after this move, she was diagnosed with cancer and has spent the last year fighting the disease. Teresa continued to maintain her sense of humour and wit to the end.

Our thoughts are with Teresa’s husband Tony and her many close friends both in and out of the service.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, 15th November at 9.15am at Kings Lynn Mintlyn crematorium, Gayton Road, King’s Lynn.  Followed by coffee and buffet at the Sandboy public house at Bawsey.

It will be a full ambulance service funeral, so please wear uniform to perform a guard of honour.  This should be full greens and a soft shell jacket.

Should any non-ambulance service people wish to attend, they should wear bright colours as requested by Teresa.

If you’ve been affected by Teresa’s death and need support, please remember that the Trust’s employee assistance programme is available at any time. It’s free, confidential, runs 24/7 and can be accessed either on the phone or online. Just visit www.well-online.co.uk (user name: EEASTlogin, password: wellbeing), or call 0800 085 1376.
