Trust top performers for call pick-up

The latest call pick-up figures are in - and EEAST continues to have the best performing EOC in the country.

In August, just one of the thousands of calls we received took more than two minutes to answer, meaning we’ve maintained our position as the best performing ambulance service nationally in this area.

Gary Morgan, Regional Head of EOCs, said: “August’s result is a staggering effort considering we saw an increase in call demand and sustained pressure on call pick up last month.

“I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who contributes to this and of course for the continued hard work of the teams themselves”.

Call pick up times are recorded on a monthly basis and reported across all UK ambulance services.
