Welcome back to Clinical Quality Matters

It’s with great pleasure that we welcome back Clinical Quality Matters this month – an EEAST publication dedicated 100% to clinical learning.

Our future issues are going to be looking at a specific clinical area or subject, like cardiac care, sepsis or paediatrics for example, but we’re re-launching this month with this special edition that takes a look at serious incidents. Our staff across the board do an incredible job every day. But it’s also important to recognise that sometimes, like all human beings, we can get things wrong. This issue looks at what we do when that happens – and how we learn from it.
