TRiM enquiries and referrals

TRiM is an effective early-stage, peer-led, risk-assessment for ascertaining potential onset of PTS/PTSD.

To support someone in severe emotional distress in the moment; extreme stress reactions, suicidal thoughts. It is vital that staff use this number only if in severe immediate crisis.

For any current or former NHS (or private CQC registered) ambulance service employee with >12 months service, or their close family, or university student paramedics who are in year 2 or 3 of their studies. Offers help with mental, physical and financial wellbeing. Can include counselling, physiotherapy, help with substance abuse, bereavement, financial issues or general wellbeing.

 

Mental Health Hubs

The hubs have been set up to provide health and social care colleagues rapid access to assessment and local evidence-based mental health services and support where needed.

The hub offer is confidential and free of charge for all health and social care staff.

The Listening Project

Trained Samaritans are on hand at our Norwich HQ every Thursday between 6pm and 10pm to listen to any personal or professional concerns our staff may have. They will be based in the ECAT training room and an adjacent office. This pilot project will run until 26 May 2022. More information is available here.
