Get involved with our campaigns in November

We need your help supporting a number of awareness campaigns this November.

Each month, the communications team – often in collaboration with departments and staff networks across the Trust - highlights a number of awareness campaigns that resonate with our ambulance service and the wider healthcare system, and we’re asking our staff and volunteers to help support where possible.

Some dates to note for November include:

  • 16th Nov – 16th Dec: Disability History Month
  • 5th: Bonfire Night – will you be working this bonfire night? Do you have a message for the public ahead of your shift?
  • 7th-11th: Stress Awareness Week
  • 11th: Remembrance Day
  • 13th: Remembrance Sunday
  • 14th-20th: Road Safety Week – do you have an inventive idea of how we can encourage the public to be aware and drive safely?
  • 19th: International Men’s Day – we are launching our EEAST Men’s Wellbeing Network! Interested in getting involved with the network? Email EDI@eastamb.nhs.uk
  • 20thTransgender Day of Remembrance

We will mainly be supporting these via social media and NeedtoKnow, so please keep an eye out on Facebook and Twitter and help share our posts.

This week, we are celebrating international control room week within our three AOCs and across the Trust. We will be sharing photos on our social media channels and have launched our control room: behind the calls video which you can watch now!

Are you celebrating international control room week? Send your photos in to us at communications@eastamb.nhs.uk

We would love to hear from you on how we could acknowledge and support these campaigns. If you have a story or idea you’d like to share, or you’d like to be involved in any of these campaigns, email communications@eastamb.nhs.uk
