Air ambulance conference 2014: book your place today

Anglia One helicopter in flight 1

The National Air Ambulance Conference is the pinnacle in the annual calendar of events for the air ambulance community.

Open to members and non-members, the event aims to brief, incite debate and inform. Speakers are leaders in their field and always topical, with opportunities for group debates in workshops. It’s a chance for the air ambulance industry to come together, share ideas and build partnerships, and this year it’s taking place on the 17th November in London.

Sessions this year include:

  • an update on the urgent and emergency care review
  • air ambulance case reviews
  • a European aviation safety agency update – ‘are the changes complete?’
  • a review of the drowning process from rescue to recovery
  • a CQC update covering changes to regulation of care
  • a discussion with Lt Col Chris Wright: lessons for the future from the ‘theatre of war’
  • a look at resuscitative occlusion of the aorta (REBOA) in the pre-hospital environment.

It costs from £96pp to attend, and CPD points are available for delegates on the day. To book a place or for more information, please visit http://www.associationofairambulances.co.uk/event/9/

The conference runs from 9am-5.30pm and is being held at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel, Kensington, London, which is a short walk from Gloucester Road tube station.
