EEAST standardised drug bags: your views wanted

Yellow kit bag

We’re working towards a ‘make-ready’ model for a drugs bag that will be standardised across the Trust.

This will mean that eventually, whatever locality you work in you’ll use the same drugs bag, stocked with the same number of drugs, and laid out in the same way, as those at the other end of the region.

The new bag will be broken down into a number of separate ‘pouches’, each containing a specified number of drugs. They will all fit into a drugs bag the same size as the one we have now.

Staff from a mixture of roles (including DLOs, CCPs, paramedics, stores and clinical) have done a first draft of what amount of each drug should be in each standard bag – but we want to know what you think, and you can help by completing this survey:

The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete, and it’s 100% anonymous. Thanks for your time!
