A new system has been launched that makes it much easier for you to log and track any problems with your IT.

The new service desk software has been developed by the IT team so you can log a call immediately – all you need is this link: http://eoe-nrsdesk01/supportdesk/ 

From here you’ll be able to log new calls, update open calls with new information and view the status your request is at in the system. There are some common issues/faults already logged in the system to make the process even quicker and easier. 

The new system is live and ready to be used so please do start logging your calls via the new portal. The IT team have created a basic ‘how to’ guideline (click to download), and will be visiting the following stations to give a hands on demonstration of how it works: 

  • Friday, 12th September – Basildon
  • Tuesday, 16th September – Longwater
  • Wednesday, 17th September - Great Notley
  • Thursday, 18th September – Letchworth
  • Friday, 19th September - Welwyn Garden City
  • Tuesday,23rd September - Kings Lynn
  • Wednesday, 24th September – Ipswich
  • Thursday, 25th September – Cambridge 

The team will still be accepting requests and incident reports via phone and email where needed, but are encouraging everyone to use this new, more efficient self-system wherever possible.
