Business Continuity Planning Questionnaire

It doesn’t seem like five minutes since we were planning for the 2022/23 winter period and yet, here we are, almost at the end of August with only the final few days of the summer holiday period remaining.

As you will all be aware, the winter period is quite often a very challenging time and over the last few years we have seen this time of year becoming more and more difficult.

In order to ensure that the whole organisation can respond to the challenges of winter, to support our frontline staff and to remain resilient, a contingency mapping questionnaire has been developed as part of our business continuity planning.

We are asking all members of staff and our volunteers to complete this form so that we can understand in detail what individual capabilities we have across all areas of the Trust. This is so that we can improve our ability to quickly and efficiently identify individuals and groups of staff who can be redeployed to assist in the delivery of Trust critical functions during, not only winter, but any significant business continuity events which may occur.

The questionnaire only takes about 9 minutes to complete and asks for the following information:

  • Ability to work from home.
  • Current training in various skills and willingness to undertake training for some vital functions such as call handling.
  • Driving capability and willingness to undertake movement of vehicles and people if required.
  • PPE provision.
  • Support capability and willingness for overtime.

Your assistance in getting this vital piece of work completed is much appreciated and will allow the Trust to maintain resilience in challenging times.
