NTK image CQC preparedness

The CQC are set to inspect us in the near future and, even though we currently don’t have a date, it is important we continue our preparations. To support our staff ahead of the CQC visit, we have arranged for a number of webinars to help answer any specific questions around the CQC Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs).

At the webinars, EEAST leads and subject matter experts will be on hand to answer your questions and give information around improvements to date. It also offer opportunity for discussions around areas of ongoing development and improvement.

You can send any questions you may have in advance to CQC.Group@eastamb.nhs.uk and we will ensure our colleagues address any queries you may have.

Webinar dates

Our previous sessions have been recorded and available here.

You can also visit our CQC pages on East24 and Need to Know if you require further information or support.

We look forward to welcoming you at the webinars.

Care Quality Commission information

The CQC is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. They monitor, inspect and regulate services to make sure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety, and publish what they find. Inspection reports contain performance ratings to help people choose care and understand where a particular organisation’s strengths and weaknesses may be.

Previously, EEAST was inspected in 2019 (core services of Patient Transport Services, Urgent and Emergency Care (including resilience) and Ambulance Operations Centre) and again in 2020 where the inspection focused on the well-led key question/leadership aspects at our Trust. As an organisation, we are proud of our achievements to date in relation to improvements but acknowledge there is still work to be done in some areas where concerns were identified during previous inspection processes.
