Cultural audit: your chance to have your say

RRV with blurred paramedic

Zeal Solutions, the company conducting the cultural audit, have compiled all your responses and completed the first stage of the analysis which you can view here; thank you to everyone who helped by giving us your views.  As you can see, they are not simply looking at the headline results, but digging behind them to find out the elements that make a real difference, both positively and negatively.  And we now want your feedback on what has the biggest impact on your health and wellbeing based on these results. There are a number of ways you can give feedback:

  • On Monday (5th December) representatives from Zeal will be in both Bedford and Chelmsford EOCs from 8am.   Representatives will also be out visiting surrounding stations and hospitals in the Bedford and Chelmsford areas to collect views. Due to the significant pressures on our service and the need to provide the best possible care to patients, we can’t unfortunately abstract colleagues from responding to patients.
  • Read the summary and complete this confidential online survey which only Zeal will see: https://surveys.zealsolutions.co.uk/wh/s.asp?k=147757463839
  • Calling Zeal directly on 01159 932 324, between 9am and 5pm; please leave a message if the support line is busy and someone will call you back
  • Email Zeal support at support@zealsolutions.co.uk
  • Arranging for Zeal to come into the work place to speak to your team in person

The cultural audit steering group, which is made up of staff from across the organisation, will then work with Zeal to go through the results and develop an action plan to help move us positively forward. The findings of the audit, along with the action plan, will be presented to the Trust Board on 25th January – and if you want to be there you’re welcome to attend.  Please remember, this is not your usual or standard survey. The approach that is taken by Zeal is really helping us to get beneath the skin of the organisation, so we can better look after our staff and volunteers, and ultimately make EEAST a better place to work.
