Diabetes education event in Cambridgeshire

The Trust’s third diabetes education event, held in conjunction with the Eastern Academic Health Science Network (EAHSN), is on Thursday 26^th February in Huntingdon.

The speakers at this event include: a Diabetes Consultant from Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Principal Dietician from Addenbrooke’s Hospital, and Diabetic Clinical Educator from the Eastern Academic Health Science Network.

The programme includes discussions on types of diabetes and incidence, standards of care, symptoms, management and prevention, case studies, the introduction of EEAST’s new diabetic referral pathway and a question and answer session.

The event is at Hinchingbrooke Countryside Centre, Hinchingbrooke country park, Brampton Road, Huntingdon, Cambs, PE29 6DB on 26th February from 11.30am-2.30pm. Lunch is included.
