Educational achievements for urgent care clinicians

Congratulations to Simon Nunn (Advanced Paramedic Urgent Care - West Norfolk) and Ed Wisken (Advanced Paramedic Urgent Care - Waveney) who have recently completed Masters qualifications at the University of Hertfordshire and the University of East Anglia respectively.

EEAST Clinical Lead for Urgent Care, Tim Hickey, said 'the completion of the MSc in Advanced Professional Practice by Simon and Ed is a fantastic achievement and represents 3 years of dedication to self-development through intensive and challenging academic work, alongside fulltime roles at EEAST - both should rightly be extremely proud of their efforts'.

Congratulations are due also to Lucy Bailes (West Essex), Kimberley McPhatter (West Essex) Simon Blackburn (South Essex) and Robert Toplis (South Essex) who have all recently completed level 7 PGCert qualifications with EEAST University partners and are ready to begin frontline clinical practice as Specialist Paramedics in Urgent Care in their respective areas.

Kimberley McPhatter is pictured receiving her Specialist Paramedic (Urgent Care) epaulettes from Advanced Paramedic, Richard Holt.

Well done all!
