ePCR and Harefield Hospital

Tablet

Our plans to begin using Siren Notification Board (SNB) at the out of area hospitals that are served by the Trust are progressing.

In addition to Barnet General Hospital, Harefield Hospital went live with SNB on the 19th April and are now accepting ePCRs from EEAST crews.

Since January, all hospitals in our priority list below have been contacted. The dialogue has been productive and the ePCR Project Manager has been collating key stakeholder lists for further engagement.

All hospitals have now had a demonstration of SNB, with Whipps Cross, Queens and Milton Keynes University hospitals keen to move things forward after receiving further supporting documentation.

The hospitals we are targeting in this initial phase are based on the type and average number of visits by EEAST crews. Our aim is to have SNB deployed in the remaining hospitals listed below in late Spring.

  • Queens Hospital, Romford
  • Whipps Cross Hospital
  • North Middlesex Hospital
  • Milton Keynes General Hospital
  • Stoke Mandeville Hospital
  • Royal London Hospital

In the meantime, if conveying a patient to one of these sites, please continue to complete a paper PCR.
