The rest of the region remains in an Amber weather warning from 05:00 until 21:00 today. In the south west of England and parts of south Wales, a Red weather warning was declared yesterday and remains in place.

Staff should always perform a dynamic risk assessment in these conditions. Please also wear hard hats to protect yourself from flying debris and also be mindful to try to avoid standing or parking under trees or anything else that could be blown over and cause damage or harm. Extra care should be taken in coastal areas.

When outside the cab also wear your hi-vis jackets to make sure you are visible to colleagues and other emergency services.

If you have any concerns or queries, please contact your line manager.
