Focus Groups for People Strategy

Focus Groups set to shape safe discharge and non-conveyance policy

Dear Colleagues

I shared our People Strategy: 2022 to 2025 at the Leadership team meeting last month as a starting point for us to have a meaningful and real approach to making EEAST a trust we all love to work for.

We want this to be a strategy that you feel creates a future organisation that looks after you and your welfare while delivering great patient service.

So, I am asking you to get involved in conversations about what we can do better, what we should do more of and change you would welcome to create the work environment you wish to be a part of.

We are launching Focus Groups to help that conversation by looking at the following themes:

  • Health & Wellbeing
  • Employee Experience
  • Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion
  • Developing our People
  • Building through Innovation
  • Make life better via Digital Solutions
  • New ways of Working & Delivering
  • Transforming the People Profession

These are headlines for broad topics of conversation, and we have created objectives under each one for a three-year plan which you can find on the attached slides.

We want to get it right and we intend to deliver real change that shows a benefit for all of us who work together at EEAST.

So, I am asking you to consider being a part of that delivery by joining Focus groups that we shall run via Teams over May & June. The groups will be one hour in length and will be made up of 6 to 8 people from across the Trust and each will discuss a theme which will be shared in advance.
