Goodbye to Dr Tom

Dr Tom Davis

Dr Tom Davis, who was acting Chief Executive of EEAST and then went on a period of extended leave has now formally resigned from the organisation.

Dr Tom passed on the following message: ‘I would like to thank all of the colleagues I had the pleasure of working with during my time at EEAST. The last couple of years were certainly some of the most challenging of my career to date, as we navigated the organisation through the pandemic, but the sense of team and camaraderie that came with it was something I was very grateful for and will always remember. I wish all of you the very best for the future and thank you again for the support you continue to show for your colleagues and your patients.’

Tom Abell, Chief Executive, said: ‘I would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr Tom for his commitment to the Trust. I would also like to thank him for, and acknowledge, his hard work and unstinting efforts to help move our Trust forward and help us on our improvement journey.

‘I am sure you will all join me in wishing him all the very best with his future endeavours.’

Further thanks came Nicola Scrivings, Chair of the Trust Board. ‘Thank you Tom for your support and hard work during a very challenging time, your professionalism and commitment were fantastic and at all times consistent with our values. Wishing you all the best for the future from the Board.’
