Herts CFR group receives welcome equipment boost

A community first responder (CFR) group has received vital new equipment donated by a bookshop club in Hemel Hempstead.

The new equipment was bought by The Lions Club in May last year, by fundraising at their local shop in Marlowes Shopping Centre; every penny raised by them goes to charity.

Steve Davey, Senior Locality Manager for West Hertfordshire, thanked the Lions Club and said: “It is greatly encouraging to see such a valued contribution be donated to the Hemel CFR group, my thanks to The Lions Club and also to all our CFRs for all the great work they do.”

The CFR equipment has now been formally presented to the group.
