In-patient ward changes in Beds and Luton

The following changes to mental health wards in Bedford and Luton Hospitals have taken place:

Luton:

Coral Ward has returned to its permanent site at Luton and Central Bedfordshire Mental Health Unit, off Calnwood Road (patients had been temporarily moved to Oakley Court while improvement works were carried out). The Coral Ward phone number is 01582 709180.

Luton patients being cared for at Jade Ward, Newham, have now moved back to Oakley Court in Angel Close, Luton.The Oakley Court phone number is 01582 498940.

Bedford:

Chaucer Ward has moved from the Weller Wing at Bedford Hospital to Fountains Court in Bedford Health Village.

There is already an older people’s assessment unit at Fountains Court so it will bring the two services and teams together on the same site. The contact number for Fountains Court is 01234 310798.
