The East of England Integrated Stroke Delivery Network (ISDN) through the work of the Pre-hospital Clinical Advisory Group (CAG) has agreed to explore opportunities to give ambulance crews and staff across the region access to free specialist teaching input and education sessions.
These sessions will mainly be focussing on less common presentations of stroke, complex cases, cases coming in the front door, as well as related topics such as anatomy, physiology, new guidelines, stroke research and ongoing trials.
The ISDN wanted to make colleagues aware of the next teaching session Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are putting on at the end of August and encourage all colleagues from around the region who may be interested to join, as well as register for future teaching sessions (please refer to details below).

Please email any suggestions to andrew.larby@eastamb.nhs.uk and dawn.monaghan-patel@nhs.net and we will aim to cover these topics in future sessions.
