Platinum Jubilee – additional bank holiday
To celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee, an additional bank holiday has been announced for Friday 3rd June 2022.
The Trust has decided to treat this bank holiday under the usual NHS terms and conditions, rather than following the NHS Guidance to pay staff plain time rates. Therefore, this means enhanced rates of pay for those scheduled to work, and additional annual leave entitlements for those not scheduled to work.
The decision will align EEAST with other Ambulance Service Trusts and has been agreed in conjunction with UNISON.
