Late finishes survey

Thank you to everyone who completed the late finishes survey, we had more than 400 responses in total. Some of the main themes emerging from your feedback were:

• Majority of respondees had heard about the late finishes trial giving staff the option to volunteer for a green or urgent call in the last hour of their shift, but most hadn’t used it
• 55% of those who had taken advantage of this had found that it helped them with finishing on time
• Nearly three quarters of respondees said this trial should continue
• Late finishes continues to have a negative impact on those staff who responded and was cited as being a top issue affecting morale

Next steps

The executive team will be considering the results in more detail this month and are developing new proposals to address the issue which will be discussed at the staff partnership forum.  The full survey results will be published on our website this month; watch Need to Know for the link and further updates.
