Message from Marcus Bailey, Chief Operating Officer

Marcus Bailey 2019

Over the past two years significant change and improvement, following COVID and our CQC report have occurred.

While there is work to do around culture and clinical transformation, we do need to recognise the journey we have commenced and changes we have made. Having been on a secondment within one of our ICBs, I have learnt so much about the wider challenges and opportunities for all patients.

I feel that now is the right time personally and professionally to leave the role of Chief Operating Officer and Tom will now be working with the Board on successor arrangements. During these coming months I am remaining with the ICB to build on the work already completed. After which I will be leaving the Trust.

I am incredibly proud of the service we provide for our communities, the support we provide to each other and the daily determination for good.

Marcus Bailey
Chief Operating Officer
