MTA exercises

emergency training watford NTK

As a Resilience and Specialist Operations Team we are looking for any Trust members of staff who would be prepared to volunteer to act as casualties for the 14 Marauding Terrorist Attack (MTA) exercises which will be taking place during September and October.

These exercises are designed to test ambulance, police and fire responders.

Your role at the exercise will be to act as a patient during the scenarios; helping responders better understand how to deliver care during this type of incident should one occur within the east of England.

Unfortunately we are not able to pay those who attend as casualties, however, we will be able to provide you with a packed lunch halfway through the exercise.

Casualties will need to be at the venue for 2pm and we should be finished by 10pm.

Staff who are able to offer their assistance are reminded that even though this is a voluntary role, you will still be required to have sufficient rest time between shifts in line with Trust policies.
