Norfolk 111

Earlier this year the Norfolk Clinical Commissioning Groups decided to award the Norfolk 111 contract to a different provider, and disappointingly our contract comes to an end next week (31st August).

Chief Executive Robert Morton said: “Although only in my first week, it’s clear from the outstanding patient survey results and how often Norfolk was the top performing 111 service that a fantastic service was given to patients.

“That couldn’t have happened without the dedicated, committed and hardworking staff within the service – and on behalf of us all I’d like to say a very heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you.

“I’m determined to make sure that all of you are fully supported throughout this difficult change.”

The CCG has publicly said that staff will be given the opportunity to transfer to the new provider and that under transfer rules, their pay and conditions will be protected.

The Trust first won the contact in 2012 and was widely praised for the service provided.
