‘Putt’ your best foot forward for ambulance golf competitions

This year’s National Ambulance Strokeplay is being played at The Hearsall Golf Club on Monday, 6th June, and our aspiring golfers are invited!

The Coventry course is described by Today’s Golfer as one which: ‘demands accuracy and use of every club to score well on.  The fairways are separated by some very old trees and while wild hitting might well find another fairway, players need to be straight to have the chance of a good score.  The course is not too long, so is suitable for golfers of any age.’

If you would like to ‘catch a break’, the event will be £40 and includes 18 holes and a three course meal, followed by a presentation of prizes.

Want to get into the swing of things ahead of the big day? The West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) is also inviting ambulance colleagues from across the country to join them for their WMAS Strokeplay day on Monday, 23rd May, also taking place at Hearsall.

For more details or to secure your spot at either event, please contact organiser Richy.
