Sad passing of Darren Baglietto

We are deeply saddened to advise of the death of Darren Baglietto, Senior Emergency Medical Technician who passed away on Saturday 2^nd July after a battle with cancer.

Darren had just reached the two-year mark with EEAST but had a long history in caring for patients, from community first responding, volunteering for the coastguard in Essex and working as an EMT for private ambulance providers.

He will be fondly remembered by his colleagues for his professionalism and the pride he took in working in south west Essex.

Our deepest condolences to Maria Baglietto and his family.

A celebration of his life is being organised by Maria and this will be communicated once known for staff to attend.
