As we continue to operate in these difficult and challenging times the Trust is fully committed to supporting the wellbeing of all our workforce. There is no one-size-fits-all wellbeing intervention, so the EEAST Wellbeing team is releasing a series of support initiatives. We are therefore pleased to announce that Headspace will be available for all staff to download for free from 6th September.

Headspace is meditation made simple. It is a meditation and mindfulness app which provides unique tools and resources to help reduce stress and anxiety, build resilience, improve energy levels and aid better sleep. A few minutes could change your whole day.

Meditation can also have a positive impact on mental, physical, and emotional health. A recent study showed that 30 days of Headspace resulted in an 11% increase in mental resilience.

Headspace will be available for all staff and volunteers. As you will be required to use your Trust email address to sign up, there will be a separate verification process for volunteers to sign up.
