Sharing links on Need to Know

NTK logo OPT grey

We celebrated Need to Know’s first birthday a few weeks ago; since it launched it’s grown in popularity, with more than 1.2 million page views on the site in just 12 months.

As an internal publication all our articles are about the Trust, its staff or national healthcare, and we’re pleased that more of you are getting involved with site and commenting on articles. That said, we’ve been notified of a few instances where links to articles on Need to Know have been shared on public sites like Twitter or Facebook, or emailed to people outside of the Trust.

It’s really good that the stories are newsworthy enough for you to want to share, but it’s important to remember that Need to Know is an internal website just designed for our staff and volunteers. As such, you must not:

  • link to Need to Know from any public websites, unofficial EEAST Facebook groups, Twitter etc.
  • take or reproduce any content from the site without written consent from EEAST.

You can read our full terms and conditions here on Need to Know, but if you have any questions about using the site please use the ‘contact us’ form at the bottom of the page.
