Take 5 to Prepare - Avian Influenza

The 'Take 5 to Prepare' briefing note for January 2022 is here.

Each month, the Resilience and Specialist Operations Team produce a short briefing note, 'Take 5 to Prepare', which will be aimed at staff from all areas of the Trust. 

This Take 5 is focused on Avian Influenza H5N1 (Bird Flu), which has been identified as a potential pandemic threat. It has already killed millions of birds across multiple continents, but though bird to human infection is possible, fatalities are rare. This briefing contains guidance as to what actions will need to be taken in the event of a local outbreak.
