Taking the next step on the clinical career path

Congratulations to the group of eight emergency care assistants (ECAs) who have recently completed their course to emergency medical technicians (EMTs).

The members of staff undertook a six-week course, based at Peterborough, and at course closure on 8th April, had successfully completed all of the elements required for the IHCD Emergency Medical Technician award.

Clinical Operations Manager Andy Benstead said: “They worked extremely hard to achieve the results that they did, and they now just need to complete a competency portfolio in order to become qualified EMTs.”

Well done everyone!
