The information we collect from the survey helps us to shape our plans for the coming weeks and months. It gives us an indication of what’s going well, any areas for improvement, and highlights whether there are any big issues we should be focusing on.

I don’t want to be identified by my answers
The survey is completely anonymous; nobody can be identified from their responses or the way they submit the survey. The National Quarterly Pulse Survey does not ask for any personal information although we do ask for some demographic information, for example ethnic origin, age or job type. We do this to explore the results for different populations within the NHS.

Is taking part mandatory?
Everyone is encouraged to take part, but the survey is not mandatory.

It is easy to complete and should take you around ten minutes. You can complete the survey during your regular working hours. The survey closes on 31st July 2022.

How will my data be used?
The data will be utilised by local, regional and national workforce teams. The aggregated results inform decisions on how best to support our NHS People.
