Training and Education moves to new venue at West Suffolk College

EEAST will support all its apprenticeship pathways under one roof after securing a facility at West Suffolk College in Bury St Edmunds.

Starting this month, teaching of the level 4 apprenticeship, in partnership with MediPro, and the Paramedic Degree Apprenticeship, in partnership with the University of Cumbria, will take place at the West Suffolk College site.

The move centralises the Education function at EEAST and provides a better learning environment for both educators and learners.

The facility has been secured initially until the end of the year, but it could be extended further in line with the new Education strategy that is currently in development.

Chris McGregor, Head of Education at EEAST, said: “This is a great move to centralise all of our partnership work as we continue to support apprenticeship pathways at EEAST.

“Having the learning and teaching under one roof will improve the quality and help support the learning experience.”
