Trust apology for overpayment recovery error

The Trust would formally like to apologise to a particular group of 22 Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) on a paramedic progression pathway, who were subjected to an overpayment recovery process due to a decision made by the Trust based on incorrect information. 

It has not gone unrecognised that this has caused a significant amount of distress and anxiety to the affected staff, family, friends and colleagues around them.

Although this has now been resolved, the Trust would again like to extend its sincere apologies.
