Unlock your potential with Essex leadership

RRV with blue lights

Are you a manager in Essex that wants to develop your leadership skills?

Further to the Mary Seacole Programme shared last week, we’ve got an exciting new course launching that brings all emergency services together to hone their leadership abilities.

The ‘Making a Difference Together’ programme involves colleagues from Essex Fire and Rescue Service and Essex Police, and is aimed at line managers who can demonstrate the potential to make a difference through their role.

The course will also give you the opportunity to develop and extend your self-awareness with the support of a mentor from another organisation.

The three-month programme will be delivered in groups of 15, with five managers from each organisation taking part. You will work with other colleagues throughout, sharing ideas and experiences, and focusing on a project area for a presentation at the end of the course. Find out more about the course here.

If you’re interested in taking part, please need to speak to your line manager to get their support, ensure you can attend the three face-to-faces, complete an application form, and send to leadership@eastamb.nhs.uk.

The programme will be evaluated over the summer and has the potential to be rolled out further, so keep your eyes peeled. If you work in another county - a leadership programme will be with you soon. You can look at all available opportunities on the organisational development pages of East24.

If you have any questions or require any further information, please email the team at leadership@eastamb.nhs.uk.
