Update on the Paramedic-3 trial

Since the trial went live here in EEAST at the end of June this year:

• 64 Paramedics trained
• 38 patients recruited
• 5 hospital sites collaborating with EEAST
• 2 Surviving patients consented to follow-up

 

A big thank-you to the trial Paramedics who continue to enrol patients where they can. Your support is much appreciated!

Latest development – We have recently opened the Bury St Edmunds area as West Suffolk hospital are now working with us on this trial.

We would still like to welcome Paramedics from Ipswich and North Essex, Mid Essex, and South Essex areas to get PARAMEDIC3 trained so do get in touch if you would like to take part.

We plan to expand the trial to more sites in 2023 so watch this space!
