Updating your staff record

esr1

Your Electronic Staff Record (ESR) holds your personal information and is the ongoing record of your employment within the NHS. It is important that you take the opportunity to access the ESR service and check that your personal information is up to date and complete.

You can access your data through the self-serve portal of the Electronic Staff Record (ESR). A full list of fields you can add to or amend is below.

The Trust uses your information anonymously to report our workforce race equality and disability data at a national level, which is published on the Department of Health web site.

If you have not already done so, please do complete the information in relation to ethnic origin and disability. This information is important for us to understand the shape and size of our workforce with regards to protected characteristics. It helps us to ensure that we are representative of the communities that we serve and are able to respond positively to reasonable adjustments required by colleagues with disabilities. It is also necessary for us to be compliant with our statutory duties as an organisation, around race and disability equality.

Data held in ESR is completely confidential and we only use it for statutory monitoring and reporting purposes.
