Vacancy approval process: non-patient-facing roles

In light of the financial challenges facing the Trust and the need to ensure that all of our resources are directly contributing to patient facing services and patient care, the Trust is introducing a temporary vacancy approval process, which can be found on East24.

This process will apply to all non-patient facing vacancies/roles across every area of the Trust. Patient facing roles will be subject to the usual process and include roles such as ECA, EMT, paramedic, ECP, CCP/specialist paramedic, ECAT role, call handler, dispatcher, HCRT, and PTS.

We value all of our staff and the contribution they make, and have worked hard to rebuild our important support services.  This is a temporary process and will be kept under regular review.
