This week's We Are EEAST Briefing and Executive Q&A was led by our CEO, Tom Abell.
This week Tom was joined by Stephen Bromhall, Chief Information Officer, who gave an update on EEAST's digital projects.
Questions for Stephen
Q1 - Hi Stephen, where are we with rolling out the telephony to stations/offices? My team would really benefit from this. Also, will there be soft phones available for teams?
Q2 - The siren app keeps crashing. Are we putting some work into stabilising it?
Q3 - Hi Stephen, although we recently increased our APN channels, it is still clearly evident that in order to deliver further features on Siren, we will need a further and significant upgrade - any update?
Q4 - Hello Stephen, any update when staff will have access to the AOC wallboards...to give staff current live reap and surge status…which will give staff a better understanding of any actions being taken by TOC?
Q5 - Can you please allow SPOC referrals to be made via our iPads? Sitting for an hour trying to get through and completing the referrals is time consuming when we could have it completed on way to hospitals etc.
Q6 - How far along are we with mapping ESN reception gaps?
Q7 - Whilst is great we can get onto patient medical records using our iPads, is there any chance in the future we will be able to pull medications next to medical history straight across onto our PRF’s?
Q8 - Can we access patients medical records separately on a separate app instead of siren as you need to close it to access other sections then have to reload.
Q9 - Have we fed back that a large number of GP Connect records are showing COPI protection post December 21 when the opt in to share came into effect? Full SCR access needs to be accelerated.
Q10 - Good afternoon, as a LOM it would often be useful to have access to Cad Online, Portal, etc. remotely (i.e., not on a Trust site) are there any plans to enable these for the LOM teams?
