Wearing of armbands as mark of respect

Colleagues have asked if they are permitted to wear black armbands as a mark of respect following the sad passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II. 

The answer is yes, provided it is in line with following guidance:

• You will need to provide your own armband.
• Any arm bands worn should be respectful, professionally produced and discrete for personal reflection.
• Please remember to maintain IPC compliance with uniform at all times.

Please remember, there is no requirement to wear one and it is down to personal choice.
