Webinar Invite: HSIB Ambulance Service Safety Learning Webinar

Webinar

The Association of Ambulance Chief Executives and the Healthcare Safety Investigation Branch (HSIB) would like to invite you to a safety learning webinar which is aimed specifically for staff working in the ambulance service.

Date: 21 June 2021 Time: 13:00 – 14.00  (additional question time from 14:00 – 14:30)

This free webinar is for all staff who are interested in service improvement and the wide variety of learning to be gained from HSIB’s unique and in-depth investigations. The event will also be an opportunity to supplement your CPD learning portfolio.

During the webinar, HSIB will be sharing findings from the recent, national investigation into emergency responses to heart attacks, as well as a recent maternity investigation, both cases involved the ambulance service.

Why attend?

In this webinar, you will hear from HSIB’s Director of Investigations and Associate Director of Maternity Investigations, as well as national and maternity investigators. The webinar will provide an interactive question and answer session on HSIB’s investigation approach. This will be a great opportunity to explore, in greater depth, the recommendations which have already been given to the ambulance service to improve safety and patient outcomes.

The aim is to help you understand how HSIB’s experience can make a difference to frontline healthcare and improve patient safety.
