Complete the Workplace Harassment Survey 2022

Transparent EEAST crest

As you will be aware, we are taking continued action to help challenge, change and shape culture and behaviours across EEAST. The findings of our last survey at the end of 2020 clearly reflected the CQC report which found a culture of bullying, harassment, and negative behaviours within our organisation. The information you provided in the last survey has helped us to focus our attention and effort on getting to the root causes of those issues and provide help and support to those in our workforce that needed it most.

We all want EEAST to be an excellent place to work. Nobody should come to work with the fear and worry of being subjected to bullying or harassment of any kind and it is imperative that we continue to address the cultural issues within our organisation.

We are now at the point where we need to review and assess those initial actions that came out of our 2020 findings and update our understanding of the current situation in 2022. The new 2022 Workplace Harassment Survey will help us understand the extent of the problems today and help shape and refine the way we respond to them throughout the rest of this year.

We would like all of our people, including our volunteers, to complete the survey. It is completely anonymous and your data and information will not be shared. The survey will close on Friday 25th February.

If you didn’t complete the last survey, or you are currently experiencing issues, then it is particularly important that we hear from you.

We are already taking action to address the cultural issues we face and over the last year have increased resources to enable staff to raise concerns effectively. We want to make it very clear, if you are being bullied or harassed, we want you to Speak Up; if you see other people being bullied or harassed, we want you to Speak Out against it, and if you are bullying or harassing others, to put it simply we want you to Stop.

Your participation is vital to ensuring we have an open and honest workplace, and we welcome your time and support. Thank you.

Thank you
