Please take the opportunity to access Electronic Staff record (ESR) self-service and check your personal information, which may need updating or may not be complete.

ESR holds your personal information and is the ongoing record of your employment within the NHS. Conveniently, it has a self-service functionality which enables you to update your data quickly and effectively. You can access your data through the self-serve portal of the Electronic Staff Record (ESR). A full list of fields you can add to or amend is below.

The Trust uses your information anonymously to report our workforce race equality and disability data at a national level and which is published on the Department of Health web site.

Approximately 13% of our staff have not completed their data in relation to ethnic origin or disability. These are vital components in ensuring that we understand the shape and size of our workforce with regards to protected characteristics. It helps us to ensure that we are representative of the communities that we serve and are able to respond positively to reasonable adjustments required by colleagues with disabilities. It is also necessary in order for us to comply with our statutory duties as an organisation, with regards to race and disability equality. If we all  complete these data fields it helps to ensure that we have a clear picture of our workforce.

Data held in ESR is completely confidential and we only use it for statutory monitoring and reporting purposes.
