Baby it’s cold outside! Don’t leave your equipment out in the chill

During the colder months, please pay extra attention to the batteries in your medical devices as they can be affected by temperature.

Operating temperatures for common items:

• Laerdal suction unit: 0-40 degrees Celsius
• Mangar: 5-35 degrees Celsius
• AED Pro: 0-50 degrees Celsius
• IPAD:  0-43 degrees Celsius
• LUCAS: 0-40 degrees Celsius.

Please consider temperature extremes if leaving the vehicle unattended for any length of time, and pay extra attention to your equipment management in the field when it’s especially warm or cold.
