CFR receives unsung hero award

A community first responder from Weston in Hertfordshire has received an outstanding award from her parish council for the support and care she has given to the community.

Ann Hubner attended the annual parish meeting at the Weston Village Hall on Thursday (21^st May) to accept the unsung hero Rose Bowl Award.

Speaking at the event, Ann said: “I was so surprised when I received the letter informing me I had been nominated and then to attend on the evening to be presented with the award.

“I would like to thank Weston Parish Council for their support and acknowledging the work we do in the local community”.

Community Partnership Manager Steve Catley said: “I would like to congratulate Ann on receiving this award from her local Parish Council; she provides hundreds of hours of cover every month to help support her local community.”
