Filming at Luton police station

Bedfordshire Police is working with Garden Productions – who created the series ‘24 Hours in A&E’ – to make a fly-on-the-wall documentary series for Channel 4, based at Luton police station.

Filming has already began and is due to finish on 10th May. Please note that if you attend Luton police station, the cameras are set up in a CCTV like format and a member of the production team may ask if you wish to take part in filming.

The film crew need your permission to film you, but please be aware that you are fully entitled to say no if you don’t want to be a part of the footage.

Please be assured that the production company works to a very strict code of conduct when filming individuals present in the police station, and we are in regular contact with Bedfordshire Police.

They are making 20 one-hour films spread across two series to be broadcast in the summer of 2014 and 2015.

If you have any queries please speak to your line manager, or contact the Trust’s communications team at communications@eastamb.nhs.uk or on 07500 121368 (this number is also covered out-of-hours).
