Paul Cheshire – Wellbeing Project Officer and TRiM Lead

Having spent many years working with health and welfare charities as a freelance consultant and project manager, in 2016 Paul brought his experience and expertise to EEAST, joining the Wellbeing Team as its second full-time employee, going on to be a key cog in the Team’s growth and development.

Now in his 6th year as a Wellbeing-er, he has built up a broad and deep knowledge of the Trust, while always looking to ensure that the Wellbeing Team provides the best possible support for our colleagues. Flexing accordingly, Paul has led the development and expansion of the Trust’s TRiM programme, which now has 125 practitioners providing peer-to-peer support to fellow colleagues who’ve been involved with potentially traumatic incidents.

Paul says that he works “part-time, but cares full-time”. A much-published author, most recently of biographies, when not scribbling he floats serenely aboard his narrowboat, cycles, listens to music, downs the odd ale, lives a full life.
